ONE PIECE
ONE PIECE
A collection of poems about peace promoting harmony with the rest of the universe
One Piece
It’s not so easy shedding the skin.
Rising with the wind,
We’re all akin,
Never content to live
In any norms drawn by the ruler.
Striving for each other
Standing together.
Mending the peace,
All in one piece
To end hidden slavery
Brewing bravely.
Perception throbbing between illusion, and
Illumination to perceive.
Perception
How we're in love with the joy of delirium.
Just met with each other.
Seconds, one minute shorter.
Then one hour seems lights-years of search.
Back to the clock,
One hour, maybe more than that, it passed.
It's hard to survive with the slow-moving clock.
Perception throbbing between illusion, and
Illumination to perceive.
We're standing and facing the neon lights.
Banners are on the run.
Bright images,
Countless flashing messages—
Feeling superior, but numb.
Back to the clock,
It seems to be running in full steam.
Pacing the racing clock is not our dream.
It is the grand scheme in our genes.
Perception throbbing between illusion, and
Illumination to perceive.
